The organisers of Automechanika Birmingham have announced longer opening hours for the benefit of both visitors and exhibitors.
“At the event last year, we noticed that a great deal of business was still being conducted on stands as the show closed at 4.30. With over 800 exhibitors at an event which will be 70% bigger, we recognise that a slightly extended day is needed, so that visitors can gain maximum benefit from their visit. The new hours will be 9.30 to 5.30 on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th and 9.30 to 5.00 on Thursday 8th June,” comments Simon Albert, Event Director.
“In addition to the diversity and choice of exhibitors, the show offers extensive learning and networking opportunities at more than 60 seminar sessions across the three days, tailored to the aftermarket, supply chain and workshops”, continues Albert, “and with so much going on, we recommend that industry professionals stay for more than one day to ensure that they take advantage of everything that this large-scale event offers. It’s now the largest automotive trade event in the UK so it deserves the market’s full attention!”
Once again, the organisers will offer a free coffee and pastry to all visitors who have pre-registered for the event and arrive before 10am. The coupon will be distributed at the entrances and can be redeemed at the restaurants in the halls 18, 19 & 20.
The organisers will be revealing new features, events and networking opportunities in the coming weeks.
