Euro Car Parts expands offering this summer

By Mike Smith on July 29, 2019

With the heat of summer finally here, there is an opportunity for garages to increase profits from cooling and air conditioning. With a 10% range extension in the last six months, ECP can keep your customers and their engines cool this summer.

“Many motorists are caught out in the summer months,” explains Helen Robinson, marketing director at ECP. “As engine temperatures climb, it becomes increasingly important that coolant and radiators are able to diffuse that heat. Overheating can cause a range of engine issues, from reduced efficiency to engine failure.

“It is vital that motorists have their oil, coolant, radiator and hoses checked at this time of year. The colder months provide a false sense of security, with the engine’s cooling system barely challenged under normal use. Repairers should also remind motorists to keep an eye on their engine temperature as the weather heats up.

“Lines, seals, compressors, condensers, evaporators and accumulators are all common replacement items, for which we maintain a wide variety of stock. We recommend that technicians use high-quality parts that will give them and their customers confidence in the serving or repair performed.”

ECP stocks many leading cooling and air conditioning brands, including Valeo, Denso, Behr Hella, and Delphi. For same-day delivery, contact your local ECP branch.
