Euro Car Parts, now offers a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) refurbishment service. Working in co-operation with Ceramex, a specialist in particulate filter restoration, the new process enables independent garages to offer a proven filter cleaning solution, as opposed to a complete part replacement.
From a customer’s perspective, this is an affordable alternative to dealer-only DPFs that often retail for as much as £1,500. Instead, Euro Car Parts’ refurbishment solution comes in at approximately a third of this price and reportedly takes just three days, door-to-door.
Ceramex has experience in the HGV, LCV and broader automotive sector, offering a patented method to clean diesel filters, utilising a water-based solution and controlled agitation. Research from Ceramex confirms that this process removes both the soot and the ash from the filter and brings them back to 95% of their original performance specification.

Each cleaned unit will be returned to the customer with a data sheet to confirm the quantity and detail of removed particulates. All work undertaken will come with a 12-month warranty.
