Help shape apprenticeships by taking short IGA survey

By autotech-nic on July 27, 2023

The Independent Garage Association (IGA) is asking independent workshops to share their insights on apprenticeship opportunities in a brief online survey here

This feedback will encourage increased support from government agencies to promote apprentice recruitment and training within the sector.

Apprenticeships play a vital role

The IGA says a skilled workforce is undeniably the lifeblood of any business, and the IGA recognises the vital role apprenticeships play in nurturing and sustaining the industry’s growth.

Stuart James, Chief Executive of the Independent Garage Association, commented, “Investing in apprenticeships is essential for securing the future of our industry. The dedication and expertise of a skilled workforce are vital in meeting the ever-evolving demands of the automotive sector. We encourage all our members in the industry to share their perspectives, so together, we can create meaningful apprenticeship opportunities that will benefit businesses, apprentices, consumers and the sector as a whole.”

The IGA is inviting all industry members to take part in a short survey. This survey results will help create effective plans to develop a skilled workforce for the future.
