Laser Tools’ new wheel bearing kit is right fit for workshops

By autotech-nic on September 29, 2026

Laser Tools has launched the all-new 9395-wheel bearing removal and fitting kit for the Volkswagen Crafter and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles.

The kit has been fully developed and manufactured in-house, delivering a professional-grade solution for one of the more demanding wheel bearing jobs in the workshop.

Designed for use alongside a workshop press, the kit provides technicians with a complete off-the-vehicle solution, helping streamline the removal and installation process while also reducing the risk of damage to any critical components.

At the heart of the kit is a range of specially engineered press plates and clamshell adaptors, developed to maintain precise alignment throughout both the removal and refitting stages.

This controlled alignment is particularly important during installation of the new bearing, where accuracy is essential to ensure long-term reliability and performance.

Protecting the preload of the replacement bearing is also a key consideration. The dedicated fitting clamshells are designed to apply force correctly and evenly, safeguarding the integrity of the bearing during installation while also ensuring the retaining clip seats accurately and securely back into the hub assembly.

Developed with efficiency, precision and workshop practicality in mind, the 9395 kit transforms what can often be a time-consuming and daunting repair into a far more straightforward and controlled procedure.
