Previously: After a brief stint in the call centre at Brands Hatch selling race tickets and driving days, Nicola took on her first role in the industry as editorial assistant on Aftermarket magazine back in 2002, managing the national Top Technician skills competition from its inception in 2003 until she left her Managing Editor role after the company was sold back in October 2015.
Mission: The brief answer? To inspire and deliver useful information. To make autotechnician a true ally to independent workshops, sharing readers’ stories, concerns and knowledge through the mag, website and Facebook community. To support technicians through the ongoing technological challenges by facilitating new training initiatives.
Interests: “The usual – reading, films, having fun with the kids… I’m a big foodie, I like to experiment and try out new recipes.
Although I own a gas-guzzler (2005 Saab 9-3 convertible), and possibly the best fun I’ve ever had was a drift course at Silverstone learning how to do doughnuts in Caterhams, I’m a bit of a hippy at heart. I’m at my happiest sitting in a field surrounded by good friends, family and live music.”
Previously: The Senior Marketing Co-ordinator for the automotive parts brand Blue Print. “After 10 years of marketing in the aftermarket I’ve looked after the whole mix from traditional trade shows, magazines, all things digital and everything in between.”
Mission: “To share every bit of knowledge that we can for the benefit of the independent aftermarket, have some fun while doing it, and get you some cracking deals on the things you need too.”
Interests: Most things with an engine, rugby (Saracens and England fan), being a digital geek and cooking.
Previously: Company Secretary for property maintenance company, Classics student and advocate for those with Autism. Carer of two young people with Autism and published poet. Extensive experience working in admin and financial services.
Mission: To facilitate smooth processes behind the scenes.

Previously: I have been involved in automotive publishing for over 23 years, working on magazines including Autobusiness, Autotrade, Fleet News and Aftermarket. I also created Top Technician and Top Technician magazine alongside Nicola St Clair.
Mission: To mutually benefit our readers and advertisers within print and the digital realm. I look after all things concerning advertising – involving print, digital and sponsorship opportunities with autotech
Interests: I like a bit of F1, good food and most things Spanish. I want a Harley – have the beard, now just need the bike!
