SBX Pro targets workshops with trade-focused range

Simply Brands has launched SBX Pro, a dedicated range developed for technicians and workshops, separating its expanding trade offer from the company’s established retail-led Simply Auto and Simply Tools brands.

The launch programme includes application-specific wiper blades and workshop chemicals such as Instant Gasket Sealant, DPF cleaner, brake cleaner, and EGR valve cleaner. Further additions planned include electrical contact cleaner, maintenance spray, spray paints and primers, with longer-term development centred on frequently used workshop consumables.

SBX Pro’s wiper programme comprises 110 vehicle-specific SKUs supplied as pairs, with the correct adaptor already fitted. Unlike multi-fit retail products, the blades are designed to mirror original-equipment appearance, fit and performance, helping technicians complete replacements quickly. Simply Brands said products are tested, used and developed with technicians so garages can fit, use or retail them with confidence.

The range is pitched as a credible alternative to established premium brands, combining competitive pricing with stronger workshop margins. The company indicated that its wipers would be priced below the leading market brand while retaining professional quality.

Business development manager Sam Robinson said: “Simply Brands has built a strong reputation across automotive accessories, but we recognised growing demand for a dedicated trade-focused range developed specifically for workshop environments. Using our practical and market knowledge, we created SBX Pro as a streamlined range combining strong performance, everyday usability and consistent quality.”

The launch took around nine months to complete. Initial stock is now available through JRP Distribution, the brand’s exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland. Workshops can purchase through local motor factors supplied by JRP, which serves major buying groups and national distributors.
