UK Garage & Bodyshop Event highlights show features & new training hubs

The second UK Garage and Bodyshop Event at the NEC in Birmingham on June 5 and 6 will have 14 show features and new training hubs for garage owners and technicians to explore.

The event will provide workshops with access to training sessions, cutting-edge technologies and equipment, plus essential tools, with parking and breakfast thrown in for good measure!

Practical skills training by over 80 industry experts will be offered across four training hubs, covering topics such as diagnostics, EV service & repair, DPF fault finding, ADAS, oils & lubricants and the role of technical data.

A new Workshop Management Hub will help garage owners plan for the future and improve business practices. The Workshop Technical Hub, in association with Autotechnician magazine, provides a comprehensive programme for both technicians and garage owners looking to hone their fault-finding skills, explore new revenue opportunities and gain insights into many areas of service, repair & maintenance.

The Modern Garage returns, in partnership with LKQ Euro Car Parts, providing a glimpse into the future of service and repair, showcasing the latest tools and technology. Visitors can also put their knowledge to the test and participate in demonstrations, for the chance to win a range of prizes.

The trade event will launch its official student program, in partnership with the Autotech Group, to showcase opportunities within the sector.

UK Garage and Bodyshop Event will also host its popular lounges again this year including Refuel & Recharge, plus the Bodyshop Lounge, hosted by Bodyshop magazine, offering a networking hub for the collision repair sector, and the Meet the Experts lounge, presented by Autotechnician magazine, providing visitors the chance to engage with guest speakers.

The Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards returns for 2024, hosted by the IAAF and sponsored by LKQ Euro Car Parts. The ceremony will take place on 5 June and will celebrate the very best independent garages and technicians across the UK. Nominations for the Garage Awards can be made here.
