Silicon RTV sealant

All new FAI silicon RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanising) is used by many OE manufacturers during engine assembly to seal pumps, rocker covers and timing covers. The versatile product is also commonly used within workshops when a physical gasket or seal is fitted, typically on water and oil pumps.

The product is available from FAI Automotive in a 12-tube display box, to put within easy reach of your customer. Each tube is individually boxed and includes two application tubes. The silicone colour is black and the formula has been improved to give a greater density.

FAI also provides a word of caution to people who may think that using more solution is better than the typical 3-6mm beading, saying it must be applied as instructed by the manufacturer, as using too much of the sealant can cause engine problems.
